How can I tell that I am right where God wants me to be? I want to make sure that I am on fire for Him and doing His will. God bless and thank you.
When you’re right where God wants you to be, you will automatically be on fire for Him. Romans 12:2 says when we offer our entire lives for Him to use as He desires, He’ll reveal His will for us in return. His good, pleasing, and perfect will. Being there is right where God wants us to be.
When we are in God’s will we feel at peace even in the midst of chaos. We become aware of God intervening on our behalf, making things work for us. We feel like He’s cooperating with us, but in fact we’re cooperating with Him.
And when we’re in God’s will we notice an increase in our abilities. We are more enthusiastic, we have more energy, we are more focused, and more productive. In short, everything is better, regardless of outside circumstances.
Next to being born again, being in His will is the most important and the most rewarding thing we can do in this life.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
