Sir, I know not words to express the gratefulness I have for your spiritual gift of teaching that has so blessed my soul, thank you!
I have a question re: Thy Kingdom Come article. In the sub-section titled – Meanwhile, Back On Earth you state that:
There’ll be peace among the animals and between animals and man. The notion of a food chain will be forgotten. No longer will one have to die for another to live.
I am under the impression that there will be sacrifices, meeting the requirement of blood covering during the millennium; don’t ask me the passage because for some reason I cannot find it. Could you clear up my confusion or point me in the direction where I may come to understand this?
My statement came from Isaiah 11:6 “The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them,” and Isaiah 65:25 “The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.”
But you’re correct. There will be animal sacrifice during the Kingdom Age on Earth to serve as a reminder of what the Lord did for us. Ezekiel 45:18-20 is one of several places in the last 8 chapters of Ezekiel where animal sacrifice in the Millennium is mentioned. That’s an exception to the general condition.
