Q
In one of your articles you stated that the lost sheep not of this fold were Gentiles. But are not the Gentiles referred to as goats?
A
In the sheep and goat judgment in Matt. 25:31-46, the sheep represent believers who have survived the Great Tribulation. Goats represent Tribulation survivors who are not believers. In John 10:16 Jesus mentioned having other sheep, not of this fold. He was referring to believers who were not part of Israel, in other words they’re Gentiles. In both cases the sheep represent believers, whether Jew or Gentile. So the distinction is not one of ethnic background but of belief.
