My young child age 3 has spoken of seeing angels and “bad men” for over a year now. Once, upon seeing what she described as a “bad man” we prayed in her room and she said the bad man went away with “fire”. I have spent hours of prayer for her and our home. I pray over her at night. The Lord I feel has led me to Ephesians 6 10-18 repeatedly. There are very few people who I feel understand or that I am comfortable sharing this with. What else can I do to protect her? Why do you think this is happening?
Putting on the full armor of God is all the protection you need. Many small children go through periods where they have bad dreams or are convinced they’ve “seen scary things.” While there are various opinions about this, no one knows exactly why it happens. Thankfully they go away after a time.
Keeping a hedge of protection around your daughter is the most important thing you can do. James 4:7 says, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” And John promised, “Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
