Has God Stopped Healing People?

Q

I used to believe that healing was possible, but I just don’t know anymore. I use mark 16:17-20 as my proof, as well as the verses where it says that if we have faith the size of a grain of a mustard seed, we can say to this mountain, move and it shall be cast into the sea, and the works that Jesus did, we can also do! My problem is a website I read that seems to explain how healing is not for today, and we simply don’t have the authority to command sickness to leave. I’m really confused, please help me.

I think your confusion comes from relying more heavily on the opinions of men than on the Bible. You don’t have enough knowledge of your own to determine if what you’re reading is true or not. I suggest you go back to the Bible and study it until you know what you believe and why you believe it. You’ll find nothing there to support the opinion that God has stopped healing people, or that He has stopped listening to our prayers in that regard.

The main reason we don’t see very much miraculous healing anymore is that most people don’t believe it is possible so they don’t ask. Those of us who have seen it know differently. Because if even one person gets healed through prayer, it proves that God has not stopped healing people.
