I’ve just seen yet another article from an author contending that the antichrist will not be from The Roman Empire. If I remember correctly you’ve written that the antichrist will be from there. Is that correct or is my memory faulty?

Since 2006 I’ve been writing about the similarities between Islamic prophecies of al Mahdi, the 12th Imam of Islam, and the Biblical prophecies of the anti-Christ and speculating on the possibility of them being one and the same. My current series is not about the person but about the Empire from which he will arise, and so far I’ve only published part one, which highlights the problems with both the Roman and the Islamic views. The conclusion is due out this weekend.
