In your book “Understanding Revelation” you explain “predestination” very nicely. It got me to thinking about all that and it made me wonder if the list of names in the Lambs Book of Life is the “full number” of believers. Would the full number be complete when the last person in the book believes?
Yes, I believe that the list of names in the Lamb’s Book of Life was written before the foundation of the world was laid and constitutes the “full number of Gentiles” mentioned by Paul in Romans 11:25, and when the last name in the book is saved the Church will be complete and the rapture will occur.
In Romans 8:29 Paul said, “For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son … ” To me this means God knew the names of everyone who would choose to become a believer before time and reserved a place for him or her in the Kingdom at that time.
