Q. When Jesus returns to reign during the millennium, He will be in His glorified body. Since He will be glorified and holy, how is it possible for humans in the millennium to look at Him? I ask because I didn’t think it was possible for humans with a sin nature to survive around that kind of holiness.
A. Peter, James and John saw Him in His glorified body on the Mt. of Transfiguration (Matt. 17:1-8) and lived to tell about it (2 Peter 1:18). The Bible says no one can look upon the face of God and survive (Exodus 33:20) but makes no such prohibition where our glorified Lord is concerned.
