This is a quote from Isaiah 40:31. I believe it means that after praying for direction, we are to wait patiently for the Lord to provide it. An old saying tells us we don’t save any time by moving out ahead of the Lord and we don’t waste any time by waiting for Him. His timing is always perfect. I’ve heard stories of people waiting months or even years for the Lord to give them the go-ahead on something they had prayed about, but because they waited patiently and in faith, the answer came. And when it did, it was obvious that the Lord’s blessing was upon them. Psalm 46:10 reminds us to “Be still and know that I am God.”
