Q. At some point I saw a reference to Israel only coming back together as a nation one more time after the dispersion following the destruction of the temple. Could you please point me to the verse that says this?
A. It’s Isaiah 11:11 which says, “In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the sea.”
The first re-gathering was after the 70 year Babylonian captivity. The 2nd one officially began in 1948 and is ongoing. It will be complete at the 2nd coming after which they’ll never again be uprooted (Amos 9:14-15)
