The Beginning Of God’s Wrath

Q

Do you have any scriptures at hand that proves beyond doubt that God’s wrath starts at the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week and not half way through the 70th week?

A

I believe Daniel’s 70th Week begins in Rev. 6:2 with the introduction of the rider on the white horse. He’s the stern faced king from Daniel 8:23-25 who brings a false sense of security to the world (1 Thes.5:3). He will confirm a covenant with Israel to begin the last 7 years (Daniel 9:27) and will later be revealed as the anti-Christ (2 Thes. 2:4).

Rev. 6:3-4 follows with the removal of peace from the world. Widespread famine and pestilence (Rev. 6:5-8), the killing of the first group of tribulation martyrs (Rev. 6:9-11), and a giant earthquake that obscures the sun will convince the rulers of Earth that the great day of God’s wrath has come (Rev. 6:12-17).
