The Seven Thunders Of Revelation

Q

Your site and articles are a blessing. Can you tell me what the seven thunders of Revelation 10:4 mean? And why are they sealed? Could this possibly relate to the sealing of the words of Daniel? Thanks so much for all your inspiration.

A

Rev. 10:3-5 says:

When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke. And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.”

The fact that John was told not to reveal what the seven thunders had said means that God does not want them to be known. I believe the seven thunders represent a final warning to the people of Earth that the Great Tribulation is about to begin. The specifics of this warning will remain unknown until their actual occurrence.

Daniel was also told that the specifics of a vision of his were sealed till the time of the end. (Daniel 12:9-10) But I believe the Book of Revelation revealed most of those details.
