Q. Thanks again for your devotion to the our Lord. My men’s bible study is studying the book of Mark. I sent your link site to our teacher and he is using all your mp3’s to guide him in our studies. We start chapter 14 next week and I’m sorry to say we are a step ahead of your mp3 down loads on this site.
My question is In Mark 14: 25 what did Jesus mean when he said I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God?
A. It’s pretty clear He was saying that the next time He took a drink of wine it would be when the Kingdom had come. Since Jesus did ask for and receive a drink of wine just before He died the following day (John 19:28-30), I believe He was signaling that with His death phase one of the Kingdom (the Church) had come. Phase two will commence when He returns at the Millennium.
