You are such a blessing to me and I thank our LORD daily for your articles. If the Cherubim were guarding Almighty God, from what was His need for being guarded?

The Cherubim are guarding the throne of God even today, but it’s not because God has any need to be protected. Just like it is on Earth, guardians of the throne are mostly for ceremonial purposes and are symbols of power. But unlike the Kings of Earth, God is fully capable of seeing to His own safety.
