Q. I’m wondering if Jewish people were saved with Jesus through their Holocaust by the Nazis in 1930’s to 1945?” I know that God had a plan for Jews who were holocaust by Nazi before Israel was reborn on may 15, 1948! I hope so because the Jews are the children of God and the Bible shows that is fulfilled with the re-birth of Israel on May 15, 1948!
A. Unfortunately any Jewish person who didn’t accept Jesus as their Messiah before perishing in the Holocaust was lost. This has been true since Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden. People from Old Testament times may not have known His name (although it appears 78 times in the Old Testament) but right from the beginning they were told that a Redeemer would come to save them from their sins.
It was their faith in this coming Redeemer that allowed the Lord to set aside their sins when they performed the required sacrifices. After He came, the sacrifices were no longer needed and from that time on they were saved by faith alone. But whether before the cross or after, mankind could only be saved through faith in a Redeemer who would come from God to die for their sins. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). He was speaking of every person ever born.
