If God does not resurrect our original bodies, what happened to Jesus’ original body during his resurrection? I could never figure that one out.

The Lord’s case was different from most in that He was only in the grave three days. Psalm 16:10 says God would not let His Holy one see decay. In Acts 2:25-28 Peter said David was speaking about the Lord. According to Hebrew tradition the body of a deceased person didn’t begin to decay until after 3 days had past. And in addition there was no embalming or organ removal following His death. So His resurrection was more like our rapture will be, the direct transformation of an earthly body to a heavenly one.
