Q. The Bible says, “In my Fathers house are many mansions.” Who lives or will live in those mansions?
A. You’re quoting from John 14:2-3.
“In My father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would I have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
Jesus said He was going to His Father’s house to prepare a place for us, and would come back to take us there. The place He was talking about preparing for us is the New Jerusalem, and the event He was talking about where He takes us there is the rapture. Therefore, the people who will dwell there are the raptured believers (the Church).
