It is amazing to me that the world’s economy has not yet collapsed. Every nation on our planet seems to be on the verge of a total economic meltdown. This has been going on now for months. Do you believe that perhaps God is somehow propping things up to keep a total collapse from happening until He removes His people to safety? I can think of no other reason why it all hasn’t tumbled into total chaos.
I agree, there doesn’t seem to be any logical explanation for it. The world seems to be standing on the precipice, holding its breath, having no alternative but to jump. Even the more moderate observers are beginning to admit there’s no fix and it’s only a matter of time. But how much time? The answer lies in two verses.
For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way (2 Thes. 2:7).
Israel has been hardened in part until the full number of Gentiles has come in (Romans 11:25).
As soon as that number is reached the church will disappear, taking the Holy Spirit, the One holding back the secret power of lawlessness, with us. The wait will be over.
