Concerning we who are believers and have been raptured. Will we still mourn for our family and friends who were left behind?
A
There’s no indication from the Bible that after the rapture we will mourn for those left behind. But there is a hint in Psalm 45 that we will not. Psalm 45 is called a wedding song because it tells of the wedding of the Messiah King to His bride. In Psalm 45:10-11 we read the following instructions to the bride;
Listen, daughter, and pay careful attention: Forget your people and your father’s house. Let the king be enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your Lord.
