Thank you so much for praying! Please continue to keep Joel, his surgeons, and his mom in your prayers. (For background, see the first post here.) Joel was admitted to the hospital this morning, and after his pre-op tests, the doctors said he is ready!  They will perform the surgery tomorrow, Tuesday the 19th.

We had our Christmas celebration for our Children’s Church yesterday so Joel could be there! It was amazing and I’ll post photos from it later this week.

Joel’s spirits are high. He came through the first surgery (photos in our weekly review post) in September so well and was so happy afterward because he could finally breathe!
