It’s our nine year anniversary since losing Jack. Thank you so much for your prayers and kind words! This week we’re talking a bit about God’s faithfulness and sharing our outreaches in India.

Nine years

Happy weekend GTF fam! ♥ Today, we’re reflecting on God’s kindness and faithfulness. Can you believe it has been nine years ago last night since Jack went Home? Nine years ago today, I had to write the hardest words I’ve ever had to say to you.

In all the questions that followed, from our group and myself, I kept reorienting myself to focus on the things I knew. I think some questions are universal when we experience loss and when our prayers are not answered in the way we desire.

  • I didn’t know why.
  • I didn’t know if there was anything else I could have done.
  • I didn’t know what would happen next.

I didn’t know anything beyond the basic foundations of my life.

  • God is kind, loving, and good.
  • God is faithful.
  • And that even this horrible situation would work together for our good. We would get through this somehow, and good would come from the pain, loss, and uncertainty.

And I can say all of this absolutely came true. In these last nine years, we have seen, experienced, and shared in God’s amazing goodness and faithfulness. Our outreaches and giving have grown, and more people have been blessed by Jack’s studies than ever before. And this wonderful group here is one of the greatest blessings in my life! The most beautiful part of it all is that it’s obvious that only God could have done this. He gets the credit. No one is under any illusion that it could have been because of any skill or talent of mine.

I’m so grateful and so proud of this group here. The Lord has brought such amazing people here to GTF, and it amazes me every day. Thank you so much for being here! ♥

Now, onto pics from our outreaches in India!
