This week in India 5-30-25

Here’s a glimpse of our outreaches in India.
Quick links to the other parts this week:
Update on the land
First, a quick update on the land for them. Thank you so much for continuing to pray with us for this. There has been a lot of interference since we first had the commitment for land for them. The district controller has now been through three plots of land for them, each time, the neighbors have protested to prevent them from coming. Even though part of the stipulation is that they cannot build huts, they must have walls. They even tried to split them up, and they said their tribe must not be split up, they said they will perish in the flood before they allow them to be broken up into small groups spread out all over. Finally, there is another plot, and this time the district controller got the police involved to ensure they can resettle there. We should know later this week. The other good news is that they’ll be given 6 months, instead of 3, to build the structures!
Pray with us for Anand
This sweet guy and his sister are both deaf and mute and learning disabled. There was a special school for them, but it closed and we’re looking into any resources/ tutors to help them. In the meantime, Anand had a really bad tooth and we had to get him seen, but communicating is hard, so he was really scared getting the dental work done. Please pray with us for him
Laxmi Scan
Laxmi has a lump growing on her neck again and so we took her in asap for an MRI. Please continue to pray with us for her! Laxmi had surgery and radiation in 2022 (you can see more here, and here)
Water Receding
Praise God, the floodwaters are receding!
Groceries to each family!
At the Village
Toiletries
Thank you so much for your prayers! It’s because of your prayer support that we have been able to keep our village from those who have been trying to remove them from their homes for several years now. We continue to pray for God’s perfect provision for them, while we praise Him for providing for them during this persecution. Thank you so much for being on this journey with us!
