Happy Friday, GTF fam!
I’m so excited to share our outreaches in Bangalore with you today!
With Manjunath’s village
Learning English!
The kids are doing so well with English! This has been a dream of ours since we first got the kids enrolled in school. The kids who chose to go to the boarding school have been taking English classes since the beginning. But they aren’t offered at the local school, so the difference became obvious when all the kids were home together during school breaks. And now we’ve been holding weekly English classes for the kids, and they are learning so quickly!

Toiletries & Groceries
We give toiletries to all the kids each month and groceries for the families.

New Tutoring Class
We are also teaching English with our newest tutoring class! And we were able to provide the same toiletries for these kids as we do for all our other tribes. It’s such a blessing to serve them.
This is the result of all these years of prayer! We’ve prayed for peace with their neighbors since we first began serving the whole tribe in 2017. Not only are they at peace with these neighbors, which would have been enough. (Dayenu!) But they saw our kids and wanted their kids to show the same kindness and thrive in school like they are. And they asked for our help.

We have prayed for many things for years and years. We’ve seen so many prayers answered. And many, like the land, are still waiting on the Lord. So, as we continue to persevere in prayer, this is one of the many answers we can remind ourselves of when we are tempted to get discouraged. And it’s the same for all of us. We are likely all waiting on the Lord for something. And when we are tempted to get discouraged, it’s helpful to remind ourselves of all the Lord has already done for us. We remind ourselves of His provision, His encouragement, and all the times He has already come through for us. We do as the Lord commanded Joshua ( Joshua 4:1-4). They carried large stones from the middle of the Jordan and set them up as a physical reminder of what the Lord did for them. The people of God have always needed seasons of waiting. We need to rely on God and mature for what He wants to give us. And we all need memorials of what the Lord has already done for us to help us persevere during the wait. And being able to serve this new tribe is a memorial to us of God’s work in our lives.

Prayer Meeting
One of the things I’m so grateful for is our legacy of prayer in this ministry. It’s how we began, it’s how we continue, and it’s what we have reproduced in others over all these years. Our volunteers and workers are dedicated to prayer. We all know the power of prayer, and we know that everything all of us do begins, continues, and ends in prayer.

Our School Classes

And that’s our week!
Thank you so much for your prayers! Please continue to keep all we serve, and all our volunteers, covered in prayer. We continue to pray for the final authorization for the new land for the Prayer House village. Thank you for praying with us!
