This week in Mexico 1-29-22
A glimpse of our week in Mexico!
Quick links to the other parts this week:
This season in Mexico has been tough. The pandemic has ramped up locally and many are very sick. There have been issues with local gangs and the National Guard has taken up residence in our neighborhood elementary school to keep everyone safe. One of the dads of our kids here was killed. We’ve had more frequent power and internet outages than we’ve had in 16 years here, which makes it hard for me to keep in contact with all of you! Thank you so much to all of you who keep us covered in prayer. We couldn’t do any of this without you!
Escuelita—Our school classes
With so many cases of covid locally, many had to be tested this week. But so far none of our kids have tested positive! So we could continue our classes. With everyone pretty stressed out in town, we made sure to have lots of time for play and creative time for the kids.
And that’s our week in Mexico! Thank you for all your prayers!
