Happy weekend, everyone! And Happy Rosh Hashana!
We still haven’t gotten a new date for little Miranda’s eye surgery, so I think they’re giving the local viral surge some time to pass before bringing in all the kids they help. Thank you so much for praying! Sometimes, waiting for something stressful is more challenging than the stressful thing itself. Waiting is so hard! Especially when you’re little and especially when you don’t know how long the wait will be. Please continue to pray with us for her. ♥
Grocery prep
We got the grocery delivery and are packing them up into bags for each family!
Our Escuelita- our kids group
We’ve been hard at work getting all our kids ready for back to school and they have had a great beginning school year! They made you all a sign of thanks! ♥ We got uniforms, backpacks, and school supplies! The same friend who donates stuff from the San Diego Zoo sent water bottles and shirts! We still have some odds and ends to of school supplies needed, but we’ve had a great beginning! Thank you!
Our house build progress!
We’re building a home for a single mom of three who was widowed. Here’s our progress this week!
Because this lot is on such an incline, we had to really build up the foundation. But we have the foundation walls complete, and we filled it in and compacted the fill dirt. Next, we’ll lay the reinforcements and pour the concrete floor next week!
