Our Final Day
Our last lesson was the ring of acceptance. Because of the amazing love of Christ, we are accepted. He did what we could never do. We become new creations with a new heart.
Ending ceremony
Just like last year, we brought up the cross, and each child had the chance to walk forward and place a heart on it, symbolizing our new hearts in Christ. (and adults too! Yalinga’s grandma wanted to place her heart there, celebrating her first full year with Jesus. She has been a believer since our final day of VBS last year!)
Below is Yalinga’s grandma, explaining how she met Jesus during our VBS last year and commited herself to Him during this same ceremony.
Certificates & Gifts
All the kids got a certificate for all their work this week, and our volunteers did too. We had six volunteers serving almost 100 children, and they did an incredible job!
And we gave each person a stainless steel water bottle to remember our time together this year.
Our Final Fellowship Lunch
What an amazing time! God always moves in the lives of our kids and families during this intense week, and we continue to pray for all He wants to do. Thank you so much for praying along with us! There’s often a lot of interference with these outreaches, so thank you so much for keeping our group covered!
