I was hoping you could answer a question for me. What is the role of the Holy Spirit post rapture?

I’m curious, how can a believer be sure he will be glorified in the last day? Does a believer have to be without sin, fear when he dies or is raptured? I hear preachers all the time say a person has to make sure things are right with God before He comes. What do you think about this?

Re: 1 Cor. 9:9-10. This morning, I came upon this verse while reading, and tried to locate from where “this is written” that the writer is quoting. I checked through the Strong’s Concordance, but didn’t find it there. Any help you can offer is certainly appreciated

In the Bible it says, “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:19 My question is, what exactly constitutes adding to the Bible? Is it permissible for me to mark important passages or write my own notes beside a verse or story I find particularly confusing?

I heard a teaching on a TV show called “It Is Written.” The speaker claimed that hell has an end. That at the 2nd death, hell will be burned up, and all that are in it will cease to exist. Is the 2nd death after the Great White Throne Judgment, at the end of the Millennium? Will hell cease to exist at that time, with those in it destined to non-existence?

Years ago when I was going through a rough time my pastor told me to put on the armor of God but he had no explanation as to how. So every morning I would recite the individual pieces and I imagined putting them on. I did it because I figured my pastor knew more than I did but it never felt right. Still years later I have yet to find an explanation that made sense to me. Can you give me your interpretation of the armor and how to put it on?

Re: There is No Seven Year tribulation. If it isn’t a 7 year “tribulation”, what does Daniel’s “70th Week” entail? And will we, the believers, be raptured before the 70th week or will we possibly be here through the first 3 1/2 years of Daniel’s 70th week?

In your August 11th post regarding “Why will the nations need healing” you stated that the leaves of the tree of life will be needed by the people on Earth who will still suffer from disease and death. With New Jerusalem orbiting above the earth, do you think there will be a lot of resentment from the people of Earth that they are still suffering and the people of New Jerusalem are not. If so, could this resentment be manifested with sinful words and deeds?

We all know about birds and fish and other animals dropping dead all over the globe, which is presumably Hosea 4:1-3 coming to pass. Well, some hundreds of fish were recently found dead in a park about twenty minutes from where I live. The authorities haven’t found any rational cause for this. So I was wondering, is it God Himself who is killing off segments of His creation, or does He have angels who do that for Him?

In Genesis 2:18 the Lord refers to the woman (Eve) as a helper: “And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

And then in John 14:26 He refers to the Holy Spirit as The Helper: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

Are there any strong correlations or similarities between woman or mother and the Holy Spirit other than using a similar word in reference to them?
