Making Atonement For The Tabernacle

Published: February 3, 2015 (Originally published: February 4, 2015)
Q

Lev 16:16 refers to the need to cleanse all the sins in the sanctuary by making an atonement on the day of atonement. Are these the sins that were transferred daily through the lamb sacrifices? How did these sins get into the sanctuary or did OT sanctuary service operate according to a substitute model where sins were transferred to the lamb, and from it to the sanctuary?

Still More On 6,000 Years Or 4.5 Million

Published: February 4, 2015 (Originally published: February 4, 2015)
Q

you state that “God said He created both the animal kingdom and mankind in a single day about 6000 years ago” (Genesis 1:24-31) I can accept that man etc was created in one day, but where in the Bible are we told that it was 6000 years ago. I have always believed that this is based on the various genealogies listed in the early books of the bible, but I also understood that some of these genealogies are not necessarily complete. I would be interested in reading your thoughts on how the 6000 years have been calculated.

Who Should We Pray To?

Published: February 3, 2015 (Originally published: February 4, 2015)
Q

I’ve recently been noticing more people praying to Jesus and/or the Holy Spirit during public prayer times. This doesn’t make sense to me since Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “Our Father…” No where else in the Bible do I see prayer being directed to anyone else except God the Father. Just wondering if I am missing something or there is Biblical warrant for what I have essentially assumed for most of my life?

Applying Zechariah 2:8-9

Published: February 4, 2015 (Originally published: February 5, 2015)
Q

Some time ago I came across Zechariah 2:8-9, verses that certainly seem to apply to the United States at this time. I wanted to share that with you and get some feedback on it:

For this is what the Lord of armies has said: In the way of glory he has sent me to the nations which have taken your goods: for anyone touching you is touching what is most dear to him. For at the shaking of my hand over them, their goods will be taken by those who were their servants: and you will see that the Lord of armies has sent me.

Was Nero The Anti Christ?

Published: February 4, 2015 (Originally published: February 5, 2015)
Q

I heard that in the Hebrew language each letter has a numerical value and when you translate number 666 to corresponding Hebrew letters, you come out with the name Nero who was persecuting Christians at the time of John’s banishment to Patmos. Do you think John was referring to Nero? Was he perhaps referring to Nero and a future anti-Christ, too?

Was There A Pre-Adamite Race?

Published: February 4, 2015 (Originally published: February 5, 2015)
Q

I have a friend who believes and teaches about preadamites. It isn’t that theory itself bothers me, as much as the idea that comes from it. The bible clearly says that Adam was the first man, and that through him (Adam) was sin and death brought into the world. If a race was already here and God destroyed it, wouldn’t that make these verses in the bible untrue? He teaches that this race happened between Gen 1:1, and Gen1:2 during the Gap Theory. Any biblical thoughts would be more than appreciated, thank you.

A Sequel To The Bible

Published: February 6, 2015 (Originally published: February 6, 2015)
Q

In the 1000 year reign of Christ, do you think there will be a sequel to the Bible to prepare us for eternity. I can’ t imagine what eternity would be like if time is a creation of God. Jesus said in John’s gospel that there is more to know but we can not bear it now. I know that one reason for the millennial reign is to prove that man is still sinful even without Satan’s influence. Perhaps the real reason for the literal 1000 year reign of Christ is to bring him glory, which is long overdue.

Who Will Repopulate the Planet?

Published: January 29, 2015 (Originally published: January 30, 2015)
Q

Can you please provide some clarification regarding what remnant of the surviving Tribulation population will go on to repopulate the planet after the Second Coming? Will it be those who come to faith during the Tribulation and survive, will it be those who are unbelieving until Christ’s return, or will it be a combination of both? We are a little confused as to whether the surviving Tribulation believers will be residing in the New Jerusalem with the returning saints, or living on the out skirts repopulating the planet and if so, how will they be differentiated from those who did not believe until they actually see Yeshua’s appearance?

The 144,000 And The 2 Witnesses

Published: January 29, 2015 (Originally published: January 30, 2015)
Q

I am confused about the 144,000 and the two witnesses. Which one came first, the two witnesses, did they witness to the 144,000? Or did the 144,000 witness the to the two witnesses? Will these two witnesses preach during the last half of the Tribulation? Will the 144,000 have any ministry during the last half of the Tribulation?
