Can born-again Christians believers have demons?
A
Yes, I believe born again believers can suffer demonic attacks, and even have a long term demonic presence in their lives. Believers are often surprised to learn that they’ve actually made such attacks possible by refusing to forgive someone who has made them angry (Ephesians 4:26-27) or by living in a state of unconfessed sin.
But when we submit our selves to God and draw near to Hm, He will draw near to us and when we resist the devil he will flee from us (James 4:7-8).
We do this by confessing our sins (1 John 1:9) and by using our knowledge of God to demolish the strongholds we’ve allowed the enemy to build in our minds (2 Cor. 10:3-5).
