Do We All Have The Same DNA?

Q

If we are all descended from Adam and Eve, do we all have the same DNA? I always thought that as far as races go, the Jewish race is different from all other races. Was the DNA of the Jewish people changed, I wonder?

A

Most of human DNA is identical, the exception being individual physical characteristics. (This is what makes DNA identification possible).

A few years ago, scientists learned that there’s a special marker in the DNA of the descendants of Aaron, the brother of Moses and the first Jewish High Priest. All priests have to be descended from him so this marker can be used to determine who will be qualified to serve as a priest in the coming Temple to be built in Israel.
