I’m confused. If there is no sex in Heaven, then how were the bad angels able to make the earth women have babies (Nephilim)?
In Jude 6 we’re told that certain angels left their first estate and abandoned their habitation. The original language can be translated to mean they didn’t keep to their origins (first estate) but abandoned their angelic bodies (the habitation of their spirit). To many, this means they took on human form, something angels apparently have the ability to do, but are only supposed to do with God’s permission. Therefore this was an act of rebellion on their part, for which they’ve been imprisoned in darkness ever since.
Taking on human form would have given them the ability to father children with human women. Genesis 6:2 hints that each of them could have taken multiple women for this purpose.
