Q. Will all the righteous who enter into the millennium (and born during it) live to see Satan released at the end? I know the Bible says that a sinner will die 100 years old but it doesn’t give a number for the righteous. It just compares their life length to that of a tree. Kind of like what happened with Rayford in the Left Behind series. He lived through the 7 years AND the entire 1000 year reign of Christ.
A. The Bible doesn’t say all sinners will die at age 100. What it says is that someone who dies at 100 years will be thought a mere youth and he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed (Isaiah 65:20). But the Bible does not reveal any more detail than that about lifespans in the Millennium. Some speculate that with the curse lifted and the creation returned to pre-flood conditions, lifespans could approximate those of early mankind. The longest of these was Methuselah, who lived 969 years Genesis 5:27).
As you know the Left Behind series was a fictional account so the authors were only expressing their opinions about when sinners would die and how long the righteous will live.
