I enjoyed your articles on “The End Times Empire. Rome, Or Islam, Or …?” I have also been intrigued by the increasing appearances of Mary and how she is so revered by all religions. But my understanding is that the Anti Christ is a male and that he is the one that will be worshiped. And the False Prophet will help that happen. It seems both are in the masculine in Scripture. So where does that leave us with Mary? How would she fit in with the Anti Christ and False Prophet?
What I’ve said is that I believe Marian apparition (who I don’t accept as the real Mary) will be a powerful advocate for the anti-Christ, saying he is her son and is worthy of worship. Along with the miracles of the false prophet (Rev. 13:13-14) this could be the fulfillment of 2 Thes 2:11 which says God will send a strong delusion to those who refused to believe the truth and be saved so they will believe the lie and be condemned. Rather than being contradictory, it supports the idea that the whole world will worship the anti-Christ (Rev. 13:8).
