Q. Jesus was the first of many brethren, and the brethren are we who will be raptured, from what I understand. We are/will be members of the royal family and will be kings and priests. But what about those who believe after we are raptured? If I understand it correctly, they will not be kings (although they might be like governors) and they will serve in God’s temple. Are they also the brothers and sisters of King Jesus, even though they are not royalty?
A. Church Age believers are called children of God (John 1:12-13) brothers of Christ (Romans 8:29) and kings and priests (Rev. 5:10).
In Rev. 7:15 we’re told tribulation believers will serve God in His temple but they are not called priests. In Rev. 20:4 we see they will reign with Christ but are not called Kings. I have not found any indication that they will be thought of as either royalty or members of the family of God.
