Q. Does the Bible say if the Rapture will happen before the war prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39?
A. No. The Bible doesn’t specifically divulge the timing of the Rapture. But I believe it will happen prior to or at the latest concurrent with the Battle of Ezekiel, because God uses Ezekiel’s battle to re-awaken Israel to His involvement in their lives.
In the past when God dealt primarily with Israel there was no church and when He turned His attention toward the church Israel disappeared. The Lord’s brother James confirmed the setting aside of Israel during the Church Age in Acts 15.
If the past is an indication of the future, the Church will have to disappear in the Rapture when God turns His attention back on Israel in the Battle of Ezekiel 38-39. This is the major reason why Christians watch for signs of Ezekiel’s battle so intently.
