Will people who reject Jesus before the rapture have a chance at salvation post rapture? One Bible commentary I read said they will not, citing 2 Thes.2: 9-12.
From 2 Thes. 2:9-12 we learn that after the rapture God will send a strong delusion to Earth that will cause those who’ve rejected the truth to believe the lie that the anti-Christ is God. This will no doubt happen to a number of unbelievers in those days. Rev. 13:3-4 says,
The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?”
And in Rev. 16:10-11 we read,
The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. Men gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.
I would hesitate to say that everyone who previously rejected the gospel will be in that position, but according to passages like these it certainly appears that many will.
