If believing Christians are forced in some way to deny Jesus and take the mark of the beast during the tribulation, will they still be forgiven and saved?
Revelation 14:9-13 makes it clear that anyone who takes the mark or worships the anti-Christ will suffer eternal punishment.
It’s important to remember that Tribulation believers will not enjoy the blessing of eternal security like the Church does. Rev. 14:12 says the introduction of the mark will call for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus. This tells us that Tribulation believers will be responsible for maintaining their own salvation in the face of great persecution.
They will be expected to choose execution rather than take the mark of the beast or worship him. Rev. 14:13 says, “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
