My question is in regards to the tribulation saints. I believe that when Jesus come in the rapture, we and all others who died in Christ will get perfected bodies. The ones that died will be resurrected right? If so, does this mean that there will be a second resurrection for the tribulation believers who die? Thank you for your help.
The answer to your question is yes and no. According to Rev. 20:4 Tribulation martyrs will be resurrected at the time of the 2nd Coming. But notice that Rev. 20:5 says this is still considered to be the first resurrection. It began with the Lord, will continue with the resurrection of believers at the time of the Rapture (1 Thes. 4:16-17), and will conclude (for now) with the Tribulation Martyrs and Old Testament believers (Daniel 12:1-2). (The Bible does not tell us anything about believers who die during the Millennium.)
The unsaved dead will come to life to be judged at the end of the Millennium, 1000 years later (Rev. 20:11-15). This will be the 2nd resurrection.
By the way, it’s from Daniel 12:2 that we discover there will be 2 types of resurrection, one to everlasting life and the other to shame and everlasting contempt. So while there are several resurrection events, there are only two types of resurrection, the first resurrection and the second resurrection.
