What If It’s Not Pre-Trib?

Q

I believe in the pretrib rapture but I was wondering,  would it be possible that if the rapture is not pretrib, and fundamental believers are disappointed by being in the trib, that they will apostasize and that is the great falling away? I hope I am being just a worry wort and too sensitive to the bad things that are happening. Is this even a valid theory? has anyone else raised this question?

A

This is not a valid theory but a lot of people raise the question. The reason it’s not valid has nothing to do with the timing of the rapture.  It has to do with the fact that a born again Christian  cannot fall away for any reason. There are dozens of verses in the New Testament that establish this fact beyond any doubt.  You can browse OSAS on the site to confirm this, or download our free ebook, OSAS Anthology.

Based on my studies, I’m convinced that the only rapture position consistent with a literal understanding of the Bible is the pre-trib position. All the others require some degree of reinterpreting either the context or the actual meaning of various verses.  Read Defending The Pre-Trib Rapture to see what I mean.
