I’m confused . Did God create woman in Genesis 1:27 or was it in Genesis 2:18?
A
Genesis 1 is God’s account of the creation. Adam’s account begins in Genesis 2:4. This is why there are similarities as well as differences in the two chapters. Both accounts are accurate since they are essentially two versions of the same set of events. God’s account is an overview of the entire seven days of Creation, whereas Adam’s account begins on Day 6 with some background thrown in to provide context. Both accounts are accurate.
