Thank you for your web site. I am learning so much. In Mark 13:27 what is going on here and where is he taking them? “And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”
God’s elect include Old Testament saints, the Church, and tribulation believers. At the 2nd Coming He will gather them from all over heaven (those who have died) and all over Earth (those who are still living) to take their respective places in the Millennial Kingdom. According to my understanding, Old Testament saints will dwell in Israel during the Millennium. The Church will dwell in the New Jerusalem which will be stationed near Earth. Tribulation believers who survive the Great Tribulation will come into the Kingdom in their natural bodies to re-populate the Earth. Jews will live in Israel and Gentiles will live in the nations.
