Why do I feel the need to ask God to save me over and over again? Am I really saved if I do this? I question my salvation because of this.

It probably sounds too good to be true. Many new believers feel this way. Read Matt. 7:7-8, John 1:12, John 3:16, John 6:28-29, Romans 10:9, Romans 10:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, and Titus 3:4-7. These references all tell us our worthiness is irrelevant. Belief is the only condition for salvation. Study them until you’re convinced, and while you do, ask the Lord for an extra measure of faith to believe it.
