Q
As a follow-up to the latest “Mid-Trib Rapture” Question: Do you believe that there is a distinction between “God’s Wrath” and the “Wrath of the Lamb”?
A
I don’t see any merit in trying to distinguish the wrath of the Lamb from the wrath of God. In Rev. 6:16-17 the kings of the earth will say, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of their wrath has come and who can stand.”
The phrase “Him who sits on the throne” is a reference to God. These verses tell us the wrath of God and the wrath of the Lamb are one and the same. And the phrase “has come” means their wrath has already begun. I take that to mean it begins with the Seal Judgments of Rev. 6.
