Christmas in Mexico 2024!

Here’s a glimpse of our week of outreaches in Mexico.

Happy weekend everyone! ♥ How are you all? Praying for all of you and for the Lord’s blessings to be incredibly abundant for you this year!

Pray for the fires

We are also praying for those affected by the devasting fires in Los Angeles.  My sister and her husband live there and have been evacuated. Several of their friends have already lost their homes. Please continue to pray with us for everyone affected. The destruction already caused is devastating.

The hot, dry, Santa Ana winds have now made it down to us here in Baja and have started a few fires, one five minutes north of us!  We lost power, but they were under control quickly, and no homes were lost!  The winds made it warmer and much drier. It went from 80% humidity to 18% in one day! With the drier season we’ve had, it’s easy to see why

We have so many fun pics to share from our Christmas outreaches! So, let’s begin!

Christmas Dinner & Groceries

We are so blessed to be able to make sure each family we serve has Christmas dinner and groceries in the house on Christmas. Families have their Christmas dinner of tamales and posole (a spicy soup made with hominy and served with shredded cabbage and tortilla chips on top) on Christmas Eve, and everyone stays up until midnight to celebrate Christmas Day.

Christmas Gifts!

It’s been very cold at night, and families asked for blankets. Every kid received a warm, fluffy blanket! And friends also sent stuffed animals to give to all the kids!

Our Escuelita Christmas Party

Our kids had such a blast! We played games, had a piñata, and ate hamburgers! Aidan manned the grill and made the burgers, and my sister made rice crispy treats for them to decorate.
