This week in India 1-23-26

Here’s a glimpse of our outreaches in India.

Quick links to the other parts this week:

Happy Friday, GTF fam! :hearts: How has your week been? I’m so excited to share our outreaches in India with you. Our kids there are studying hard to prepare for their final exams in March, which is the end of their school year. Last year, everyone in our tutoring classes passed, and we’re so proud of them! This year, they are all challenging themselves to earn a higher grade than last year, so they are taking their tutoring classes very seriously.

Prayer Service

Over the years, we’ve had to change and adapt when and how we worship here to keep everyone safe. But our nightly prayer service together has always been our priority. Everything we do depends on prayer, and I’m so grateful that the legacy that gets passed down to those we serve is prayer as well. ♥

Our craft class

Now that Annapurna is recovered and back 100%, we have our regular craft classes again, and the kids are thrilled!

With Manjunath’s village

A few people have told me, especially after losing Rakummama, that now they look forward to seeing the smiles of Manjunath’s mom each time.

Sunday School

For our Sunday School lesson, we read about Jonah and the whale (you can read Jack’s Children’s Stories for Adults teaching of it here.)

Our memory verse was Psalm 23:4

Even when I walk
    through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
    protect and comfort me.

Tutoring classes

Final exams are coming up in March, and they are very important for the kids. So this is the focus of all our school tutoring classes.
