Glimpses from our week in India!

Praying for Roza and Gopi

This week has been devastating for this couple. In August of last year, you may remember Roza and her husband Gopi, from when their baby Sarah was born premature. Roza just found out she was pregnant and everyone celebrated together. We took her to her first appointment and she was about 14 weeks along. The doctor diagnosed the baby with a fatal heart condition and we called for all our intercessors to begin praying. And today we learned she lost the baby. It was a whirlwind of a week with such highs and a devastating low. Please pray with us for them for peace and comfort during this hard time. ♥

In happier news, little Preethi, below, had fallen and cut open her chin requiring sutures. After several trips back and forth to the hospital, the sutures are now removed and she is thrilled to not have to go back!

Our School Classes

We just learned that school classes should begin next week! Please pray for our kids in this transition, for the teachers, and all the logistics in returning to school after so long! It will be a bit bittersweet transitioning out of this odd time we’ve been in for the last 19 months!

Sewing Classes

Or goal is to help these women open a tailoring shop as soon as they have the skills to do so! Please pray with us for them and this exciting opportunity!

Our Sunday Service

Sunday School Classes

At the village

Shilpa is getting better bit by bit! And her baby (being held by Shipla’ss mother-in-law below) continues to do so well! Shipla is being treated for leprosy and it’s a long, harsh treatment for a very terrible disease. It’s been a rough year for her, her foot and eyes become very infected and when we brought her to the hospital, we discovered she was both pregnant and had covid! The doctors weren’t sure either of them would survive but they did! We continue to pray for them both!

Our week with Manjunath’s Village

Groceries for each family

This week we got rice and essentials and began packaging them up to give to each family next week!

And that’s our week in India! Thank you for praying, for your love and support of those we serve together.
