Glimpses from our week in India!

Quick links to the other parts this week:

At the village

Last week, we asked for prayer for this village, when the situation turned from bad to worse. Their huts are being threatened and now instead of helping them, the government officials were upset to see they are Christians. They said they would send higher authorities to them, and so we are praying for the hearts of those who come.

It’s been a frantic week for our village at the prayer house. We cleaned it all up and did what we could to protect our volunteers from any problems.

Sunday School Classes

Because of the problems with both the neighbors and the officials, we didn’t have a Sunday service this week. But the kids asked to still have their Sunday school classes so our volunteers hosted the kids at their home.

Psalm 43:5 is appropriate for the hard times they are facing right now:

Why, my soul, are you downcast?
    Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
    my Savior and my God.

And that’s our week! Thank you for your prayers! They are essential to all we do.
