This week in Mexico 11-21-25

Here’s a glimpse of our week of outreaches in Mexico.

Happy weekend, GTF fam! We were without power for four days this week because of some intense storms, and I’m working hard to catch up on all the emails I missed. Thank you so much for your patience! Today we have clear blue skies and I can’t wait to share the pics from the week with you!

⇒ Because of the power outage, I didn’t get the emails out for our post from last week, so if you missed that, you can see the photos from last week’s India post here.

Pray for Ericka

One of the moms from our community got a shock this week when she found out she was not having symptoms just due to perimenopause. She’s pregnant! And not only that, she is six months along! Many of you will remember her and her family’s story. Ericka helps us deliver food to families, and we finished building two bedrooms for their family of four earlier this year. You can see how God provided through their sacrificial giving at the end of their house project here. And the beautiful full-circle moment at the beginning. God has worked with and through and for this sweet family from the very beginning, and we are so blessed to come alongside them in prayer at this moment too. ♥

This surprise pregnancy is remarkable, not only because her little one went unnoticed for six months, but because Ericka’s last pregnancy was so high-risk that she was already on bed rest at six months.  Please pray with us for the health of mom and baby and for an uneventful delivery! ♥

You may notice that one of the girls brought her baby doll. I’ve had to point out to friends that it is a doll and not a real baby!

Railing for Israel and Ericka

In between his volunteer work with other ministries, Aidan has been making their stair railing, and it’s finally complete!

Our house project – Jamie and Vanessa

It’s been tricky with the intense storms we’ve had, but our crew has been working hard and as quickly as is safe in between.

God is doing amazing things here, and I’m so grateful for your prayers and support that make it possible. Thank you so much for praying with us for those we serve together! ♥
