This week in Mexico 12-12-25
Here’s a glimpse of our week of outreaches in Mexico.

Happy weekend, GTF fam! ♥ We are right in the hustle and bustle of the season, preparing for Christmas in India and Mexico! And this week we got all of the Christmas mailing out! If I have your address, you should have it soon. My goal was to get them out by the first week of the month, but a printing issue with the photo magnet delayed it for another week. But they’re all in the mail now! Hooray!
Our New Roof Project
It’s the rainy season, but we have a couple of weeks with weather nice enough to repair some roofs! This one is for Liliana, a widowed mom of three, and her youngest child has special needs.
Her roof has been leaking, and the interior is covered in mold due to the moisture. Lili has her hands full, and her home covered in mold. We’re so grateful we can help her with the mold!

Inside, from the leaks
As soon as we finish the exterior, we’ll coat the walls with a mold-blocking paint to protect them.

Waterproofing
We thought this would be a very quick project, but some of the plywood was so rotten that it needed to be replaced before laying the roofing paper. Then, on the flat problem area and down the broken wall, our crew applied a cold-tar waterproofing.

Last Christmas Card crafting
Our kids are so grateful, and loved making Christmas cards to express that!

Groceries for families in need
This is our regular food distribution for the month. We’ll make a special Christmas meal grocery delivery right before Christmas to make sure these families can have a Christmas dinner. The tradition here is tamales and posole (a soup made with hominy), so we include the corn husks, masa flour, and hominy.

Refugee Camp
This is much farther away, so we delivered these the next day. Because there isn’t much stability at the camp, we won’t know whether these kids will be there at Christmas or if there will even be new little ones. But we told the moms we are praying for warm Christmas blankets for all the kids!

God is doing amazing things here, and I’m so grateful for your prayers and support that make it possible. Thank you so much for praying with us for those we serve together! ♥
