Here’s a glimpse of our week of outreaches in Mexico.

Repairing after the fire
Our big new project is helping families recover after the fire just north of us. Eight families lost everything in the fire. The area had a clothing drive, and each family got bags of clothes to sort through and find things that fit.
We just had some materials donated to help the families start rebuilding! And several men in the area with construction experience have volunteered their time to help rebuild! But first, we need to clear out more of the damaged and burnt material and check any remaining structures for stability. We are praying for wisdom in each step. Some want just quick wood structures to get stable as quickly as possible, and some are looking to rebuild with more fire-resistant materials.
Groceries to families in need
You may remember this sweet family. Their mom is sick, and the oldest daughter works at one of the local little stores to help provide.
Project house: Israel
We shared last time about our new project house and how excited we are to come full circle back to the beginning of our home projects! This week we’ve been building up the wood forms to pour the concrete roof.
Oranges for all the kids!
Oranges are so good and sweet right now here in Mexico, and we were able to get enough to share with all the kids this week!

We love to make sure the kids get time to draw, craft, and make art together. When families don’t have food security, art and craft supplies are luxuries they can’t afford. So we make it a priority in all the areas we serve to let kids play and practice their God-given creativity.
